“ The Pork Rice in the stone pot was my absolute favorite dish we tried here, but seriously everything was solid. Every dish felt so homey and made with love and care. The flavors were on point and everything came out super hot and fresh. The raw marinated crab was solid as well with the soy sauce. “ If you're looking for some soy marinated crab, then bap do duk is the place to go! The soy marinated crab is just so fresh and so delicious. Savory and slightly sweet with a bit of a kick! Additionally, the jaeyuk bokkum (stir fried pork) was also delicious with a slight kick. A house favorite is any of the braised fish dishes. The sauce was just so yummy that I couldn't stop! Get there early before prime time because it's a small restaurant but also super busy. You won't regret it! ”

“ Great spot to try the raw marinated crab! It gets quite packed inside since there aren't many tables. The combo with the 2 crabs, 4 fish and bean paste soup was a lot of food and good for two people. The crab was fresh and I didn't have any sand in mine. The fish was also fried very well! However, all the dishes were too salty for my taste, even with lots of water and some rice. Would still recommend this spot if you wantex to try the crab dish! ”

“ Bap Do Guk is a small restaurant in Pal Park run by ajummas; many of the visiting customers are local Koreans and the overall vibe is much more authentic. We came for soy marinated crabs. There are not many places that you can get them around here. I like crabs, but I dislike the process of breaking the shell apart and digging the meat out. With these crabs, you don't have to do any of that! You just suck the meat out (and maybe chew a little on the soft shell). Between us four, we ordered #7 Marinated Crabs (4) and Soybean Paste Stew), #10 Grilled Dried Pollack, #15 Stir-Fried Pork, and #16 Stir-Fried Small Octopus. The crabs were delicious. It had adequate meat that didn't have me complaining but probably not enough roe on the shell, which made my sister frown a bit. She really loves crab roe. The soy marinade was not too salty, so you can still enjoy it with a spoonful of warm, white rice. I liked the pollack dish since I am a fan of fish. For the lazy, picky eaters (oftentimes me), there were bones, but they were thin and small enough to just swallow. And the sauce made the flavor interesting but did not overpower or sog up the crispy fish. The stir-fried pork and small octopus were HUGELY portioned dishes. Both had the same typical spicy gochujang sauce. I enjoyed it but probably could have ordered one less. When watching kdramas, some times, I get cravings for soy marinaded crabs, if I see characters eat or mention it. Now I know where to satisfy that craving. ”
